I have 3 tutorials tomorrow, none of which I have completely finished doing. But I need to blog about 2 things.

1) The Mango flavoured Yoplait yoghurt is awesome! If the vanilla flavoured one that I was going on and on about was heavenly, this one is orgasmic. It tastes like mango mouse cake without the cake, or the nice expensive restaurant type of mango pudding. But...I think i prefer heavenly over orgasmic...strictly in the yoghurt sense of course.

2) I had to show this beauty. Ok la I'm like damn thick skinned because I made it, and I called my own creation a beauty. But really very nice mah...no meh? I named it "Royalty". Somebody in school actually asked me if she could buy it from me...but not this one... this would cost her a bomb. Maybe 2 bombs. I used the dark red Swarovski crystals that zhiyou got me for Christmas and a pearl. and silver...eeps I suck at describing.

Anyway I changed the colour combi and the sequencing 732923748 times over the weekend, and I was so happy with the end result that I wore it like everyday since. Gonna expand on my hobby...but I need people to buy my them so I have more funds. Or you can donate. Feel free to drop me an email, and I will make one for you. Haha rest assure I won't charge alot. I just need to cover my costs.

Everybody knows that I hate aunties. No I don't mean old woman in general. I don't dislike nice old ladies at all, but in my vocab, 'aunties' refer to those KPO like hell, endlessly garrulous, and extremely rude old woman who cut queue to squeeze up the bus before u, and scold you just because u accidently bumbed into her even though it was inevitable and because she was sooooo deaf that she didn't hear u say "i'm sorry", that she followed you around to scold u; or someone who complains about everything and anything at a restaurant yet expects more of everything and a discount for everything, and basically someone whose perception of the world is attained through CHannel 8 TV shows. Not too far in the past, whenI agreed to accompany my parents on a trip to Desaru that is organized FM97.2(a radio station for aunties and old people), I thought it was like a torture camp. There were aunties and auntie behaviour swraming around me, as much as there mosquitos. They fought for food even though it was a buffet, cut queues at the immigration counter, and were flirting with bad taste with the tour guide who was this fat, oily guy ala a Jackie Wu wannabe. He called himself "Prince of the Fruit Farm" *gross, but the aunties obviously liked it. There was this aunties who even got me scolded because she was stealing rambutans and i happened to be in her general direction (and I have coincidentally bought a packet of rambutans, so I got scolded as well, It's like how suay la)

ANyhoos, I'm sure I had much more bad encounters with bad aunties to make them one of my pet peeves, but I can't exactly remember all of them now. Yea but now, I hate ah peks as well.

'Ah peks' in the same sense as the 'aunties', but just a masculine representation of them. Anyway, they are lecherous, they smell worse than aunties, and they are more bo liao. Chinatown has FUCKING ALOT of them, and they will stare at any girls who walked by who isn't already sagging. Yea I went to CHinatown this weekend, and my story starts there...

We were there to eat, then afterwhich we went to buy materials for my handicraft at the wholesalers in Chinatown. We were at Pearl Centre when there was this ah pek who was heading in our direction. It was quite a ulu part of Pearl Centre and as u know, they have alot of those shops with PRC 'ladies-in-waiting' there. The old man was looking around and was walking rather zig-zagedly, and so when he was near me, I sorta lean towards ZY so as to let him pass. Who'd have known that he walked right into me despite me giving him more space to move, and his arm (his tricep was in somesort of a cast) touched me. He didn't touch alot of me, mostly just my arm that collided with his, but he was like "Owww" and turned around to stare at me like I killed his entire family. I mean in the first place I was walking on my side of the lane, and he was walking on his, he had to come into my lane because he was looking at the massgae parlours, and despite me leaning to one side to give him space already, he had to move towards me to touch me. It's really damn bo liao and he had to cheek to give me the oww look. Anyway ZY said he probably did that just to attract attention. SICKENING freak.

There was this another old man, who had to bumb into me from my behind, and he dropped his thing( which were plastic cups ok) and stared at me for like damn long. And that was after me apologising to him. I don't know why did I do that, but I have a habit to apologising when I touch anyone even if it wasn't my fault. Next time I should just hollar at them. In the first place, I don't have eyes on my butt, so how would I know that the stoopid person is going to hit me. Siao.
I didn't even bother to help him pick up his plastic cups which by the way, were not broken.

Worse, they are prolly the ones who are fueling the PRC study mama flesh trade in SIngapore, and there is just an endless stream of ah tiongs coming in, thinking that Singapore market is very lucrative to put their mothers in.

Hate ah peks, hate aunties, hate ah peks, hate aunties...and ah tiongs.

************************************************************************************
Speaking of Ah tiongs...That day I was sitting beside one (a complete stranger) in one of my non-arts class, . I have 2 non-arts modules this sem by the way. During the intermission break, she leaned over and asked me something.

Ah tiong: What did the teacher say about pt 3 & 4?

Me: (being kinda charitable and helpful that day, I held up my notes and pointed to a particular section that I wrote) Do you mean this??

Ah tiong: Your handwriting is unacceptable

Me: Uber...what??

Ah tiong: (repeats) Your handwriting is not acceptable

Me: (WTF...who the hell does she think she is to tell me my handwriting is unacceptable? Siao char bo... I think its okay what. my lecturer who marks my papers thinks it's okay what...Okay *Calms down* Maybe she is ah tiong, and ah tiong's ENglish not say very good, maybe she meant illegible. So I shall be nice and read it out to the PRC woman) *Me reading the contents of my note taking

Ah tiong: Wait wiat wait... The beginning is not the same as mine. Why u didn't copy exactly what the teacher said? It's not the same....You have the same one? I want point 3 and 4...

Me: Fine...this is all I have. I didn't copy word for word, and if you think its not acceptable don't copy lor (feels like slapping her. She's so stupid. If she used her non-english speaking brain for a second, she'd have realized that it's the same thing. Just that I didn't copy whole sale. There's a reason why I caught it, she didn't. Alamak, she should go back to primary school... she is what at least in her 2nd semester in Uni, and she still dunno how to note take. Yea she should just go ESAD.)

Anyway after the lesson, she went to the teacher to borrow the slide in question to copy. Meanwhile, I finished 2 sandwichs(which is quite slowly).

Of Laura & I...

Finally, I got down to arrange the photos that me n Laura took into a huge photo collage. I thought the effort was commendable and I thought it looked soooo pretty. The collage...i meant. Okie & the beautiful us inside the pictures...

Of Teh Pengs and Beard Papa Cream Puffs...
Reminiscing about our Secondary School days, when we were so super ngiao, that when we went to town and ate Beard Papa Cream Puffs for lunch, it would be the only thing that we would eat. Bcause it was $2, and $2 then was a fucking large portion of our pocket money.

Of the fat and the funny faces...
Smileys only are too boring. Gotta have some variations mah. I cheated on one of the photos and smiled, but look at Laura's face...it's soooo cute and so kuku!!!

Of Best Friends n cakes...
Picture taken at Jack's Place when we went out for luch together yesterday. So the clothes change yea...Last time $2 cream puff...now Jack's Place.

May our friendship last till the end, and we'll grow prettier n prettier, and make lots of money, that next time we'd be having lunch at errmm Godiva buffet. If they have it in the future.

Oh man eating Godiva Choc's like eating Gold.
1 round tin (around the size of Danish Butter Cookies) of chocolate cookies costs like $100 ++ .
Cookies only lei....
1 stoopid strawberry dipped in chocolate costs $9. Siao lei

I'm gross

Please do not read if you have a faint heart. Or if you sat beside me during class today. Or if you are both faint-hearted and sat somewhere near me today.

Because I hadn't washed my hair in 3 days...Eww. Sometime late last week, I dyed my hair to this Hazelnut beige shade. Doesn't it have a so-sweet-that-you-must-buy kinda name?? And the model looked soo pretty. I'm a sucker for pretty models on product. Yea well so I bought it. And i bought the same shade for my bf too. So that we can celebrate CNY with the same hair colour. So after the dye job, I decide not to wash it for as long as I can tahan. Afterall, hairdressers do advice customers not the wash their hair after chemical treatments to prevent hair damage. And in the first place I don't even like to wash my hair because my hair is soo long, and it gets tangly after washing, and plus it doesn't stink. Even that day after we went to eat the Korean BBq, I didn't wash my hair after I got back. It got miraculously scented after a night's sleep.
YET
SOmeone told me that my hair looked nice in school today. Haha. I mean understandably so because my hair did have a shine to it and it wasn't flying all over the place.
Therefore
oily, unwashed hair=nice hair
clean hair=Poomf, flyaway hair

That's So sad...

Anyway, I was doing my semestral update of my diary, on what are my deadlines, presentations etc etc, that I realized that this year's CNY holidays coincides with our mid sem break. Which means that got break like no break like that. Sian. Which means any plans of going to Bali/Batam/Genting/China or hell maybe even sentosa is DASHED. Fuckanaden.

And I decided to try a formula from Laura's homemade beauty in a box. It was my super belated present. Oh speaking of which, I forgot to give her hers. Okie I'll give it to her when I meet her tmr. I digress. I decided to try this formula that claims to clear blackheads that I read the other day, and I sorta remember the mention of using olive oil...but I cant recall the other ingredients. so I just heck care and used olive oil, and rubbed it on my face for like 2 minutes. And hey the blackheads did disappear. Either it was the massaging or the olive oil, but it worked on me. But then if you want, try at the risk of your own face. If you kena something the next day please don't come and bomb my tagboard.

***This entry is completed after I had washed my hair. Yay!!! So it's a clean hair entry...

Finally I did what I was supposed to do during the hols. I chose a nice blogskin and changed the picture that I put under the l'essntiels. I chose that blogskin because its simple, I vaguely know how to tweak the configurations so that the columns appear bigger and its not cluttered with pictures that will over power all my other photos that I put into my blog entries. PLus, the designer didn't seemed to be like some other brats who bicker on blogskin.com over not getting a 5 star rating, or get all upset and defensive just cos some other people didn't say that their skin is "absolutely gorgeous". Stoopid secondary school kids.
Yea, and my picture. I managed to find one in which my hair looked decidedly the nicest, had like a smooth shiney bouncy look which still looked nothing near Rachel Bilson's crowning glory. Hmm...but still, this is one of the few nice hair pictures that I have, instead of the usual Poomf* that I go to school in.
I should just stop doing all the ali achars and go back to study. Tutorial starts next week and I have prepared nothing. [-_-]
Before I stop, I must say, Yoplait's Vanilla yoghurt is really the best. I just ran out of it. SOb* The rate it runs out is like 3 times faster than normal yoghurt because it is just sooo creamy, so nice, so smooth and so vanilla-ish. And when you start eating, you just don't wanna stop eating it. My opinion is that it's about 10X better than MOS burger's vanilla milkshake; and 100X better than any Marigold yoghurt. Please support this product so that the importers will think that it's a really sells, and maybe they will never stop importing it. It's already not sold at alot of places, so we must buy more to convince its importer and manufacturer that we all like it and we want it in every possible supermarkets. I think I might die without it.

Sick...Grrr

Sick...Sick... Sick....
Been retching so much since Sunday night that my stomach feels like its hurling out. I don't even have energy to do anything because I feel so sick that I havent eaten anything solid until lunch today. And no to any potential congratulators, I'm not pregnant, thank you very much. I was just having stomach flu. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to puke about 3278932 times. Went for the 1st 2 lessons on MOnday, and I felt too sick to continue, so I had to miss the most important lesson of the day East Asian International Relations. **So anyone from that class who reads my blog, could I borrow your notes from you please? I was so sick on Monday that I didnt even remember to sms my group members whom I have randomly gotten from IVLE, and they also didnt contact me. Great. What if my project was set to be the first group to present? I'll kill myself.

Oh, and to anyone who has too much money to spare and dunno where to spend it all on, please let me know. Thanks, I could do with a few more clothes, some new mascara and some hair treatment. Victoria Secrets, ASOS.com, Amazon.com, Topshop, Zara etc etc are all having sale now. Plus, I saw some lovelies at the NUS arts forum bazaar today, from earrings to dresses. Sick woman ranting...do not ignore. On a brighter note, I'm meeting Laura on Thursday. I love to induce her to spend money when she's with me. But of course, it happens both ways, because I'd spend too. urghh..maybe I wont on Thursday. We're going out to take photos. Hurhurhur. Take many many photos. Those of my existing photos on her friendster are look so kuku that it seemed as if she had un-kukufied and I haven't. Yay!! I'm gg to flood my next few entries with our camwhorishness...
The damn sian thing is hor, cos of my stoopid ex-agency, I cant post pictures of my new modelling jobs nor make any mention of them. If not he'll find out who I've secretly worked for and be agent for. Hah!! if you come sue me then I'll know that some of your lackeys read my blog. Hurhurhur.

Yay! 2nd day of school and good news in the morning. Linda, my supervisor from SAM, smsed Amos & I that our pay is ready. Whee!!! Money's coming in... Oh her sms reminded me that we had taken a 'group' photo picture, that about wraps up the whole internship. Can put in Museum next time k... It's a memory what...

Hope they don't deduct any more of our already measly pay bcos we worked for less than a month. but no need to be so ge gao right...just a few days less mah. But then, measly pay is better than no pay.

But other than that, and that we do alot of 'things that interns do', I have no complains about the whole stay. Oh oh oh and a burnt out social life. Budden again...I don't have a very happening social life in the first place anyway.

***The inofficial Post mortem of the internship*** (The real one is on Friday...*Dreads)

Linda- Funny, easy-going, a to-die-for supervisor (the kind that most interns don't get) with an infectious laughter. ALmost everyday, there are certain periods of the day when me and Amos take turns to fall asleep, but she never wakes us up & scold us(*GASP!). And people who knows me actually knows I have a habit of arriving 5 min late for everything. I swear that's not intentional. But when I do that occassionally, she never chides me too. She frequently tries to convince us that working in the resource room is the first step to a successful curating career.
And plus plus plus, she doesn't set a time limit to how much work we must finish, and instead encourages us to browse through any of the books in the resource room if it interests us. Brings us to buy 4D during lunch, eat with us everyday. And she laughs at all our cock jokes about ba geh ppl. WAH this kind of supervisor where to find?!?!

Amos- My Kopi buddy, a gentle giant, my fellow gossip monger, who sprouts random cold jokes here and there. And the frequency of his cold jokes increases as the days go by. Being a 'traditional' Cantonese, he knows quite a bit about *making soup*, and has taught me the recipe for apple soup during one of our Kopi breaks.
Linda read the online almanac thing and forecasted that Amos (according to his zodiac sign), would be lucky in love this year. And being a good friend, I offered to advertise him in my blog. Since I believe most of my blog readers are girls. Hurhurhur. EH~~ he can make soup okay! Especially to those single girls who have the type of Hindi movie fantasy of chasing the guy around a coconut tree, you'd be surprise to find that he might actually like it.

The tai tais- They are an irresistable, unique category. They only come on Tues and Thurs into the SAM resource room as volunteers...and we thought that tai tais only play mahjong and go shopping. They only arrive at 11am and leaves for lunch at 12.30pm and usually leaves by 3pm. Shiok right. They don't come when it's raining, talk about the kind of christmas gifts that I wouldn't even dream about in my life, talk about social events at the Hilton yada yada, and some didnt even know what's Cadbury chocolate is like(not becos they dont eat chocs). Imagine...
But they are really sweet people. Not in anyway like the fake tai tai wannabes in my ex-agency. They are really refine, not cocky, speak without glitches, writes beautifully, and puts their families first. And when they speak of buying expensive gifts, they're either for their husbands' dunno what associates, or for that lady boss whom they work under while volunteering for Red Cross. Its not to show off, to us little mites in the office, that they r the rich and the powerful. In fact I didnt know they were taitais until LInda told me....budden duh~ who else will have the time to do volunteer work frequently. Hah~ if i do become a taitai one day, I'd wanna be like them... not like some no class models who are just rich men's mistress, who assume that just because they have one more Prada bag than most of us, they're a notch above. I mean what kind of life is it to skip from one men to the other, bearing one man's children after another, just in exchange for more Tiffanys and diamond earrings.

Okie enough of the people at the office...

Anyway, being in a good mood for the rest of the day, I decided to try out the apple soup that Amos taught me. I wanted to make it for dinner for my boyfriend. It was unbelievably good.

APple Soup
Ingredients:
-A pot of water (probably enough for 3/4 ppl)
-some dried seedless red dates
-Some chinese wolfberries
-Some spare pork ribs
-1 apple (get the crisp, sweet type. Amos recommends Fuji apple. But mine turned out fine thought I didnt use Fuji)
-some salt.

Some means you agar yourself. I also dunno because he never tell me. Basically I just didnt scrimp on anything.

Directions:
Bring the spare ribs and red dates and wolfberries to a boil, then lower it to a slow boil. Core the apple and quarter or eighth it. Put that inside the soup too. SLowly boil until the colour of the soup turn to a colour similar to the colour of the apple when it oxidize. Add salt to taste.

*Amos emphasize the need to put in sufficient ribs so that the soup will be meaty enough to be hearty. If not it'll be like apple water.

Tada! Yummy, healthy soup that is good for the lungs, eyes, and complexion. Oh and the apple that is boiled (if you choose the right type), it'll almost taste like the filling in apple pies without the sugar and starch. It is that nice.

The Pros and Cons of going to school

Gosh! I actually felt happy being back in school again. With the exception of the stoopid CORS problem and that I still have 1 module to bid for, that was constantly bugging me(I will seriously wrong its neck if it had one), I felt really good when I went stepped into school today. Okay, by school I mean Arts, because my first lesson today was in Science. In fact I was quite flustered by the time I reach Science for my Animal Behaviour Lecture, that I had no time to thing how nice the place is. Plus, the LT was impossible to find; and I dont actually have much memories (let alone happy memories of the Sc fac). Anyway, when I got off Asomething bus at central library, I was immediately greeted by the familiar ever-present bazaare, and the familiar smell of the building. Yay I lurve school(that is if school as usual includes a 4 or less day week, with lessons that generally starts after 10am)!! Coupled with the fact that I'm really very possibly not going to be taking my honours, hence the wave of pseudo nostalgia.

Oh but then I got really quite sian when I went to class and saw my least favourite classmate who always gives me the creeps. If I am not wrong, I am taking at least 2 modules with him. And yes, it means he will continue to haunt me for the next sem. Not to name names la, this 'huhuhu' will always take on girls that are out of his league. By that I don't mean ugly. I have nothing against ugly people. But I have something against weirdness. Today during class I was still quite heng bcos I was sitting next to a male friend. And this 'huhuhu' guy (I will hereby call him huhuhu cos of his demeanour, dressing and his whole aura about him) naturally would not derive the delight he would get in sitting with a female only, so he chose a sit v v near me. eeps!

And if anyone knows him a little, he's always moaning about y he hasn't found his 'one'. So after lesson, huhuhu MSN me and asked me
Huhuhu: Your bf is also taking XXX(<= a certain history module)?
me: huh?? (then realizing he was being sneaky and probably congratulating himself on asking a very smart qn w/o being too obvious, I said) Sorry my bf's from Law, why on earth would he be taking any history module? (dont think you geh geh I dunno lor)

It's like those guys who ask you out for the first time and say eh how come today never go out with bf? It's such a lousy way of asking ppl if they have a bf

huhuhu: (set his MSN to away)

Yea that's the first time he pang seh me first. Hurhurhur! Plus me and my friend(s) find him particularly distastful because he targets not only 1 girl, but a few in every class. And he will never target those who are his pattern. Excluding me from the soon-to-be-made remark, he usually targets those girls who are the prettiest in the class. And if his intentions were just to ask about hw, why issit that the guys in the class are never harressed by him?

Actually this is already one of the more uninteresting story about him. Whoever is interested, can go around the class asking the prettier girls for their versions of the huhuhu story. Oh and his preys are limited to CHinese girls only. Most of them has one. EEEeeeeepppps!!!!!
